Join us at the 15th annual Collingswood Green Festival! Preorders are now open and we have a really nice selection of plants, including our Native Garden Kits for Sun and Shade.
Wild Roots Collingswood Porchfest Kickoff
We ❤️ Porchfest. We’re back this year as sponsors and hosts, and can’t wait for you to check out our friends and local bluegrass favorites The Jersey Corn Pickers. Bring your chair, bring your kids, and bring your instrument too.
The Jersey Corn Pickers are a Philly area band that plays original and traditional, high energy bluegrass and Americana music. Their style is informed by their love of old time, folk, rock, blues, traditional country, and all manner of American roots music. The Corn Pickers have played on XPN’s Folk Show, at Camp Jam in the Pines, and at XPN in Philly, among many other places.
After their performance, we’ll host an open bluegrass-style jam. We know there are so many other musicians in our little town who’d love a chance to jam with their neighbors, so this is it. Join us!
Oh, and yeah, there will also be discounted native plants for sale.

CollsWest Pollinator Garden Planting Day
We’re supplying the plants for an amazing initiative happening in Collingswood this year. There is a team of two fantastic, enthusiastic women leading beautification efforts on Collings Ave.
They need some experienced gardeners for planting, and some other folks who are interested in getting involved and willing to help in other ways!
Bring: water, gloves, hori horis, weeders, hand trowels, trash pickers, trash bags/buckets, rakes, brooms, etc.
We'll be working between Gill's Food Mart at the corner of WHP&Collings and Ames Drug Store at the corner of Collings&Richey.

Wild Roots Pop-Up @ The Haddon Township Garden Tour
We’ll be selling a great selection of native plants at the Haddon Township Municipal Building during of the Haddon Township Garden Tour June 11! Hope to see you there.
Collingswood Green Day (Earth Day Event)
There is SO much to learn at Collingswood’s Green Day (aka Green Festival aka Earth Day Event!). We’ll have two pollinator kits for sale and there will be lots of ways to learn about native pants and more.

HSSJ Monarch Project Monarch Waystation Kit Pick-up Day
This is our second year partnering with the awesome gardeners at HSSJ on Monarch Waystation Kit Giveaway. More than 100 kits will go out into the community — and we are so proud to be part of this effort.
Collingswood Green Day Native Plant Sale
Collingswood’s Green Festival is where we kicked this whole Wild Roots thing off, and we cannot wait to return for our 6th year. For this year’s event, we won’t be doing pre-orders — though there will be plenty of opportunities for that throughout the next few seasons.
We’ll have 3 different Wild Roots Habitat Garden Kits for sale, including our new Backyard Birders Kit.
Pinelands Alliance Spring Native Plant Sale (Public)
The Pinelands Preservation Alliance’s Annual Spring Native Plant Sale is happening this April, so if you can’t wait a couple weeks for our sale, or just want to support an awesome organization, head on out! It’s a little bit of a drive from Collingswood, but make an afternoon out of it and go for a hike.
